HERE that inspired me to make
lap mei fan. Mine turned out not bad. I used home made pork soup stock to cook the rice. There was no spring onion anywhere in the house. So, I grabbed 4 huge turmeric leaves to top it. Instead of
siu bak choy, which I don't grow, I put in okra and long beans, which I do grow. I only had 1 type of
lap cheong and should have gone to Chong Pang Market to get more
lap yuk. I did not feel up to braving the crowds at the market. So, I defrosted 2 iberico pork sausages.
Technically, this is a cross between a risotto and a
lap mei fan.
When I grow up, I wanna be like 李子柒.
