CNY norms are changing. I am still stuck in the past. These days, people are giving each other chi-chi stuff like flowers, HUMONGOUS pears, super sweet kumquats and pre-cooked crispy duck (that I only need to crisp up in the oven). I am still so old fashioned and without imagination. I gave away pineapple tarts. I must do better with my gifting next year!
