"A Rainy Day" by Little Boy

Little Boy has a new composition!! This composition scored the highest mark in class this time. That's difficult (and it's a first) because so many children in his class write so very well that compared to them, Little Boy's writings are kinda so-so. Kids these days write really well.

See the composition entitled " A Rainy Day", here.

Your son is really good at writing. He appears to have read alot but the best thing is, he is able to digest what he reads, and then turn around and use the words and phrases effectively in his own compos. He's really smart! And he's only 10. Imagine what he can achieve when he's older. I am so impressed!

Actually... that's what I thought initially... but school standards these days are horrendously high. My son is by no means the best writer. Only this once did he top the class and the compo scored 15 on 20... Gee... what must one do to get 18? Write like Shakespeare? Hmmmmmmph!

Wow, the teacher's expectations are that high these days?

Don't look at marks. Instead, be happy that he can write so well at this age, and he will get better!

Yup! I am quite pleased. Shouldn't worry about marks too much... it'll just discourage him from enjoying a very enjoyable activity.

I don't know how old is your son but his English is really good! He must be very smart!!!

Malar - Oh gosh!! It's a relief to finally hear someone say that! So far, he has appeared rather of a gong-gong.

Oh no, he's totally not gong gong at all. He's probably absorbing and creating stories in his head. He writes so eloquently... very much like you actually.
